(2) Team Nila Volunteer - Anti-Doping Chaperone (Interview)

*** [Important] Please read carefully before applying for an interview date. Only those who have passed the interview can apply for the volunteering shifts under Anti-Doping Chaperone Team. ***

Instructions for Application:

• Interested volunteer are required to apply and attend one of the physical interview sessions listed below.
  

• Only successful candidates can attend the training. Upon successful completion of the training, you will then proceed to apply for the volunteering shifts under the Anti-Doping Team.

• Successful candidates will have to commit minimally in blocks of 4 days (consecutive) throughout the event.  

• We strongly advise the successful candidates to commit for the Anti-Doping roles only. As this is a specialized role, there are limited training slots available.

• For unsuccessful candidates, do check with Team Nila HQ staff on the availability for other roles.

Skills and Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Prior experience in doping control is an advantage
• Able to demonstrate respectful and professional behaviour
• Able to follow procedures and protocols
• Able to communicate effectively in the English language (both orally and in writing)
• Able to speak foreign languages is preferred
• Able to provide clear directions to athletes
• Able to remain calm, and quickly and effectively solve problems
• Able to maintain confidential information
• Able to work under demanding schedules and conditions
• Must not have a criminal record
• Must not have any perceived or actual conflict of interests with the sport and/or athletes who are involved in this sport at the:

• Participation level (i.e., competitor, coach, referee, official);
• Organizational level (i.e., provincial, national, international); and/or
• Personal/professional level (i.e., relative, friend, acquaintance, client).

• Proper attire and appropriate attitude (No smoking and Zero alcohol tolerance)
• Required to sign a confidentiality agreement relating to the anti-doping programme
