PIER71™'s Smart Port Challenge (SPC) is an innovation competition to find the best ideas and solutions from technology start-ups around the world to address challenges, or innovation opportunities, put forth by maritime corporates in Singapore.
SPC2022 features 15 innovation opportunities co-created with 16 maritime corporates in the areas of (1) Smart Port; (2) Smart Ship; (3) Crew Safety, Training and Wellbeing; (4) Smart Maritime Services and Logistics; (5) Green Technology.
Technology start-ups from anywhere in the world can apply to one or more of these innovation opportunities and/or in an open category.
NOTE: Please select all the innovation opportunities for which you are intending to submit proposals as you won't be able to add more once you have registered. You will need to complete and submit your application details after registration. Only submitted proposals will be evaluated.
Shortlisted start-ups will be enrolled in PIER71™ Accelerate, a 6-week market validation and customer discovery programme backed by world-class entrepreneurship education from NUS Enterprise specifically curated for the maritime industry. This culminates in a Grand Final where top teams get the opportunity to pitch in front of judges, partners, investors and other maritime veterans to secure the top prizes of the challenge.
