Coco & Friends Programme

Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Visitor Pavilion
$10 / child (inclusive of a nature kit consisting of a nature journal, crayons and sling bag)
"Coco and Friends", a programme by the NParks and HSBC Singapore, aims to promote more understanding and awareness of some of our native biodiversity found in our forests.
Through the eyes of Coco the Malayan Colugo, let your children embark on a nature adventure learning about Coco and his forest friends at Bukit timah Nature Reserve/Hindhede Nature Park!
Suitable for children from K1 – P2. Registration is required.

Nature Keeper Camp
12 Mar (Tue), 9am – 3pm
Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Visitor Centre
$25 / child (includes packed lunch and all craft materials)
Designed to stimulate the interest of the young and inculcate in them an appreciation of our forests, this one-day camp is a nature programme which aims to develop and increase your child's appreciation for nature and our natural heritage.
The camp encompasses fun, educational learning opportunities in a forest environment. There will be nature walks, games with nature themes, indoor learning opportunities together with hands-on activities that children can participate in and enjoy!
Suitable for children in P1 – P4. Registration is required.

Behind the Scenes: Inside the Singapore Botanic Garden’s Rainforest

Singapore Botanic Gardens Rainforest
$6.12 / participant
Have you ever wondered how the Singapore Botanic Gardens maintains its beautiful landscapes and conserves our native biodiversity? Join our colleagues from the Living Collections team and learn about the work our horticulturists do to conserve the primary rainforest found within the Gardens. Go behind the scenes with us and discover the many interesting plants grown and conserved there.
Suitable for children in P3 and above. This is a parent-accompanied programme. Registration required.

Storytelling: Somebody Swallowed Stanley
15 Mar (Fri), 10am – 10:20am & 11am – 11:20am
Jacob Ballas Children’s Garden
The ocean creatures mistake Stanley for a delicious treat, but he is no ordinary jellyfish. He looks like one with dangly-gangly tentacles because of his two handles but he is actually a plastic bag. Other jellyfish have a magical glow, but Stanley only has stripes. Join us for a fun-filled session to find out what happens to Stanley and learn about the effect of plastic pollution in our oceans.
Suitable for children in K1 – P4. Registration is required.

Fun Walk along the Southern Ridges
16 Mar (Sat), 9am – 11am
Mount Faber Park, Henderson Waves entrance (Mount Faber Loop)
Take your family on a leisure stroll through The Southern Ridges, a soothing sanctuary of greenery that is not only steeped in history but also home to some of Singapore's most exciting flora and fauna. Highlights of the tour include the Henderson Waves, Sembcorp Forest of the Giants, Forest Walk and the Singing Forest.
Suitable for families with children. Registration is required.
