February 2024

Calling all community photographers and avian enthusiasts!

The Singapore Botanic Gardens is not only home to plants and trees, but also to several species of fauna! Part of the Gardens’ botanical and horticultural work is focused on habitat enhancement and management of its resident wildlife, making it a key biodiversity hotspot in Singapore.

Do you have any amazing shots of birds taken at the Gardens? The Open Call for a Community Photography Exhibition on the Birds of the Singapore Botanic Gardens invites you to submit your photographs of birds seen or recorded here in the following sub-themes –

    • Birds in Action
    • Migratory Birds
    • Rare Birds
    • Feeding Birds
    • Nesting Birds

Shortlisted photographs will be displayed in a photography exhibition at the CDL Green Gallery in the Gardens later this year!

Open Call period: Now – 29 Feb 2024
