Event Description
Calm Circles is a safe & non-judgemental space for open conversations to support mental well-being.
Date: Saturday, 12 April 2025, 2:30 - 4:30 PM
Venue: Marymount Community Club, Multi-Purpose Hall (191 Sin Ming Ave, Singapore 575738)
Theme: Relationships
As humans, we need to connect with others. Relationships, whether with friends, family, or colleagues, can help lift our mood, inspire, and heal us. They can also present challenges and provide opportunities for growth. Join us in taking a pause to reflect on the relationships in our lives, including our relationships with ourselves.
In this session, we will talk about:
- Our connections with others and with ourselves
- How our relationships change as we grow
- What we learn about ourselves through our relationships
Goals:
- Experience a personal connection with the Marymount community
- Share your thoughts and feelings in a safe, no-judgement zone
- Learn from each other's experiences
- Deepen your listening and empathy skills
*Disclaimer: Calm Circles are not a replacement for any existing or ongoing therapy or any professional mental health care.

Reviews from our past participants:
“Calm Circles is a great space for people who need the human touch to come and connect, especially during this time when we need to be kind to ourselves and each other.”
“I liked that it was an open and affirming space! It allowed everyone to share some things in their personal life that they recognised as points of pain and learning. The sharing also made it such a precious space of growth.”
“I was also very encouraged and pleasantly surprised at what an authentic and respectful conversation about feelings we can have with strangers in an Asian context.”
