WHO DO I SEE?
In a technologically-driven world, time seems to go by at the speed of lightning, our attention span reduced to a matter of seconds or a scroll. It is easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life, preoccupied in doing (or posting) instead of being in the moment.
“WHO DO I SEE?” attempts to press pause on our everyday life, step back and take a good look at what truly matters to us. Who are we? Are we merely actors influenced by our social media preferences? What memories and experiences in our lives define us – which parts of ourselves do we choose to forget or remember and why? What hidden treasures lie in our hearts? What are the stories that inform our identity – are we part technology and part human? How would we react in the face of death and hardship, do we carry hope in our hearts and fight to live on? What does our future look like?
This exhibition attempts to explore questions on life and death, from the beginning till the end, turning the gaze inward to question who we are and in doing so, creating a vision of who we can truly be.
