1 April 2025 marked a significant milestone in Singapore's high performance sport ecosystem. Sport Singapore is proud to announce the launch of the High Performance Sport Institute (HPSI) that consolidates the capabilities from Singapore Sport Institute and the National Youth Sports Institute. This integration better enables us to move closer towards achieving Singapore’s vision for the next bound of sporting excellence - providing a seamless, structured pathway from youth to senior levels. By streamlining athlete development, supporting National Sports Associations, and strengthening sport science and medicine, HPSI is dedicated to nurturing elite athletes ready to compete on the global stage. As part of the Kallang Alive Master Plan, this integrated approach will lay the foundation for world-class infrastructure that will allow athletes to stay, train, study, and compete in one hub — paving the way for sporting excellence in Singapore.
