Join us as a volunteer befriender to engage and support seniors at Mei Ling AAC through art activities. You will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by befriending seniors and providing support to those with mobility issues, such as escorting them from their homes (within 5 minutes walk) to the AAC. Basic training to handle wheelchairs will be provided during the actual day Orientation & Training.
This is a Youth Corps Singapore Bite-sized Volunteering opportunity. More details about the volunteering opportunity will be relayed via Telegram. Upon confirmation, you will be invited to join a temporary Telegram group chat in the same week of the opportunity.
- CAUSES
Volunteer Befriender
As a heARTistic Companions Volunteer Befriender, you will be joining us to:
- Engage seniors through art activities
- Escort seniors that may have mobility issues from their homes to the AAC and back
Orientation and Training will be conducted at the start of the volunteering session.
