How to qualify for the program?

For the 2024 batch of Epicenter Accelerate – Singapore Cohort, we will primarily look for startups connected to these industries/areas: Mobility, Logistics, FinTech, AI, Retail, PropTech and 5G.

  • Later stage startups, ready to scale
  • Post "seed funding”, with a product/market fit
  • On their way to raise a "series A round” or post series A
  • A yearly turnover of 0.5M - 40M SGD

    We are a dynamic ecosystem that constantly changes in a rapid pace, so we really encourage everyone to apply, even if you don't fit the exact formula as of above

      November 1st - March 15th: Applications for Singapore startups.

      December - End of March: Online  evaluation process to select 12 startups from Singapore.

      Early April: Program phase 1, OKR Workshops in Singaporepreparation to scale internationally with the Epicenter Stockholm team.

      April & May: Program phase 2, online coaching and preparations to scale internationally with the Epicenter Stockholm team.

      Early June: Program phase 3, onsite in Stockholm, coaching, workshops, business meetings etc and the Singapore Pitch Day 2024.

        Patrick Mesterton
        Co-founder and CEO, Epicenter

        Patrick is the Co-founder & CEO for the entire Epicenter Group, with hubs in 3 Nordic cities (Stockholm, Helsinki and Oslo).Patrick has 20+ years of experience of building online businesses, scaling companies internationally, building teams and more.Patrick will be involved in both coaching and one to many sessions, specialised in Lean Startup process for agile business development.

        Marie-Claire Maxwell
        Head of Tech, Business Sweden

        Marie Claire has 20 years of experience from the APAC region as an entrepreneur and consultant, since early .com days to market entry strategies and business matching. She has a strong passion for connecting ecosystems, especially from a tech, startup and talent perspective! Today in her global role driving Business Sweden’s Digital Technology program, she is focusing on scaling the next generation of unicorns and enablers in the immersive, AI, Fintech and 5G space. Impact tech is particularly on her radar, ideas with solutions for the UNSDGs. Putting more women in boardrooms and on stages something she actively works for, Sweden is a frontrunner, but we all need to act and also give them the funding.

        Jack Melcher-Claësson
        Head of Accelerate, Epicenter

        Jack runs the structured accelerate programs for startups & scale-ups at Epicenter. Beyond the Nordic Scalers program he's also the guy behind other Epicenter programs in partnership with Google for Startups, Microsoft for Startup as well as international programs like K-Startup Center. The latter providing selected startups from South Korea a platform to have Stockholm and Sweden as a spring board for their global growth journeys, initiated by the Startup Minister and Government of South Korea. Jack is often supporting teams around agility and pivoting, storytelling growth and fundraising.Jack is a serial entrepreneur and prior to Epicenter Jack was the founding partner of Everysport Media Group (former Traveas AB), today a public company listed on a Spotlight Stock Exchange in Stockholm with 100 MSEK in yearly turnover. He's also the founding partner of Hidden VC, Create Communication and one of the initiators of Epicenter Campus.

        Edgar Luczak
        Head of Advisory, Epicenter

        Edgar is heading up our Advisory business, providing Large corps and Scaleups with hands-on entrepreneur experience from building business and ventures, scaling faster and growing internationally.Edgar has proven track record both as a coach and as an entrepreneur, especially around scaling and fast growth strategies.Edgar has 25+ years of experience of building companies and online businesses, both as an entrepreneur and through management consulting. As CEO for Garantum Edgar grew his team from 15 ppl to 250 ppl.
