PERSONAL LEARNING DEVICE (PLD) FOR GESSIANS

The school has arranged to purchase the PLDs from AsiaPac Technology for your child’s/ward’s use. The vendor has been identified based on a panel of awarded suppliers established by MOE. The PLD bundle for purchase by your child/ward will comprise:

Use of Edusave

Students who are Singapore citizens are to use their Edusave to pay for the PLD. To ensure the affordability of devices, To ensure the affordability of devices, MOE has provided Edusave top-ups of $200 in 2020 to 2022, and $300 in 2023, to all eligible Singaporean students in primary and secondary schools.

This is on top of the annual $290 credited into the Edusave account for Secondary School students and $230 for Primary School students.

Financial Assistance

Subsidies are available for students who require funding support to purchase a PLD. Please note that as indicated on the MOE Financial Assistance Scheme (FAS) application form, it is compulsory for all students on the MOE FAS to use their Edusave to pay for the PLD, after subsidies have been granted.  Students on the School-based FAS who are eligible for PLD subsidies are strongly encouraged to use their Edusave to pay for the PLD to enjoy further subsidies, where required, to reduce cash outlay.

Financial assistance is also available for Permanent Residents (PR) and International Students (IS) who need support.
