Want to pick up skills in Swift?
Singapore Polytechnic (SP) is excited to invite students to participate in their upcoming National Software Competition (NSC), organised by the School of Computing.
This competition aims to foster creativity and innovation in software development. Students will have the chance to showcase their programming talents and compete with peers from across the nation.
It will be a 3-day hackathon held at SP from 19 to 21 March 2025 (Wed – Fri). Students will work in teams to brainstorm solutions to real-world problems, then prove the concept by developing prototypes in Swift programming.
Prior to the hackathon, SP will run two pre-events to prepare participants:
1) Swift Introductory Workshop (8th March full day) - for selected participants who can code but new to Swift.
2) Sharing by Swift Developers (15th March morning) - for all selected participants who have learned Swift and to get ready for the hackathon
We welcome students to register directly through this link or by scanning the QR code in the attached poster. Students without a team are welcome too. SP will help them to find teams during the 2nd pre-event.
Registration ends on 28 February 2025. More information is available in the registration form.
