NP: Station X 

[For Graduating Students] 

Specially developed for secondary school students discover diverse career options using the "Idea of Worlds", Station X aims to help students understand that most, if not all, jobs can contribute towards the world around us, in small and big ways.

 

STATION X will feature a wide array of careers that contribute to towards different worlds, to name a few: Healthy World, Inclusive World, Informed World, Safe World, etc

 

Enjoy hands-on activities and candid conversations with actual working professionals across a multitude of industries spanning across the IT sector, finance, healthcare, marketing and communications, aerospace, education and more.

  

Date: 20 July 2024 (Sat)

Time: 9am to 1:00pm

Venue: Ngee Ann Poly Convention Centre

Attire: Smart casual (Participants do not need to wear their school uniform)

 

Programme Outline

Introduction & Launchpad

Segment 1: Try out different job tasters and explore how different jobs can contribute to the world in different ways

Segment 2: Interact with professionals and learn about the diverse education journeys they have taken towards a meaningful career

Segment 3: NP Campus tour
(Refreshments will be provided)

Alexandra Hospital: 

Career Xploration Fair 2024

Alexandra Hospital will be hosting a Career Xploration Fair 2024, which will be held onsite at Alexandra Hospital Campus on 29th June 2024 (Saturday), from 10 am to 4 pm. The Career Xploration Fair aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare sector. Through engaging talks, interactive sessions, and guided tours, students will have the opportunity to gain valuable insights into various healthcare roles directly from our frontline staff members

RED Camp 2024 | NP

First Steps with SP

[For Upper Secondary Students keen to apply for courses in SP through EAE] 

 

This June school holidays, Singapore Polytechnic (SP) has prepared a special programme for secondary 3, 4 and 5 students to find out more about the 34 courses offered by SP and the upcoming Early Admissions Exercise (EAE). 


Come visit our campus and find out more about your desired diploma course. You will be able to visit SP academic schools of your choice, explore our facilities and clarify all your questions with our friendly lecturers and SP seniors. Feel free to bring your parents along as well!

NP: Entrepreneurship First Steps (EFS) Online Course

[For Graduating Students keen to apply for courses related to Business for EAE] 

About Entrepreneurship First Steps: 

Entrepreneurship First Steps (EFS) is an online course specially designed for secondary school and ITE students to learn all about starting a business. 

 

By the end of the course, participating students would be able to come up with their very own business idea and kickstart their entrepreneurial dreams:


Students will have to complete the entire course to receive their certificate.  


Entrepreneurship First Steps is ready for students to enrol HERE.  

Career Xploration Fair 2024

The Career Xploration Fair aims to be a ‘one-stop’ destination for students to gain valuable knowledge about various healthcare roles directly from our frontline staff members, including allied health professionals, nurses, pharmacists, and more. Through engaging talks and interactive sessions, students will have the opportunity to learn about the day-to-day responsibilities, challenges, and rewards associated with each role. 

Additionally, guided tours to key hospital facilities such as the operating theatre, laboratories, pharmacy, and wards will offer a firsthand glimpse into the dynamic healthcare environment especially at AH.

Our primary goal for this event is to foster greater awareness of the healthcare sector among students and inspire them to consider a rewarding career in public healthcare. We believe that by showcasing the diverse array of opportunities available within our institution, we can ignite students' passion for healthcare and encourage them to explore potential pathways, including our Sponsorship program.

We wish to invite you and your parents to NP Poly Experience (EAE edition) 2023, happening on Saturday 27 May, 9.30am – 1pm.

 

Parents and students can look forward to an insightful morning hearing from NP’s Deputy Principal, Ms Looi Mei Fong, and NP’s Director of Academic Affairs & Planning office, Ms Nancy Tan, as well as tour our Academic Schools’ facilities, chat with lecturers and even connect with successful EAE applicants to get answers to their burning questions.
