About the Accelerator

The AWS Accelerator Programme 2024 is the 3rd year of an exciting initiative aimed at introducing students to cutting edge Machine/Deep Learning capabilities on the AWS Cloud. (Check out the 2021 Accelerator website here.)

This fully-sponsored programme is supported by the Infocomm Media Development Authority of Singapore, and open to students enrolled in local Secondary Schools and Junior Colleges. Each participant will receive USD100 worth of AWS cloud computing credits and also receive a Certificate of Completion issued by AWS, for the official Cloud Practitioner Essentials course (incorporated into the Accelerator programme).

Requirements

Laptop (Windows/Mac) and Internet connectivity
Recommended at least 20 hours of Python programming experience attained elsewhere.

Take the foundational AWS Cloud Practitioner Essentials course as part of the AWS Accelerator and gain an overall understanding of AWS services, architectural principles and real-world applications.

This programme does not include the certification exam fees.

What you will learn

Please ensure that you can make it for at least 75% of the sessions before you sign up. Sessions will be conducted face-to-face at SG Code Campus' large classrooms at Tanjong Pagar, though students can elect to attend up to 50% of the sessions online. Students will attend different tracks of the programme depending on their level of technical preparation as determined by SG Code Campus
