The Courage Fund COVID-19 Relief Schemes

[Closure of The Courage Fund COVID-19 Relief Schemes]

The Courage Fund was first established in 2003 when Singapore was hit by the SARS outbreak. Fellow Singaporeans donated generously to the Fund to support those who were affected by the outbreak. In this same spirit of uniting the community to support one another through difficult times, Community Chest* has rallied the community to provide relief and support to those affected by the current COVID-19 situation.

*Donations received for The Courage Fund are under the NCSS Charitable Fund, which is an institution of Public Character (IPC) under the Charities Act (Chapter 37) and comprises all the charitable activities of NCSS, including the Community Chest.

Following the adjustment in Singapore’s Disease Outbreak Response System Condition (DORSCON) status on 26 Apr 2022, and extensive easing of community and border measures, MSF and NCSS have reviewed and closed all TCF COVID-19 relief schemes on 24 May 2022 and the final deadline for applications was on 24 Jul 2022.
