• Sharing for coverage of syllabus — fractions…

• Got a sensing of how far teachers are into the topic of fractions
• Huda shared how she used Koobits video to start the lesson, and have students do the follow-up activities. She will then go over any misconceptions in the following lesson.
• Rozidah also shared how some teacher used “flipped learning” to address concerns by some students .  The teacher made a video and have students watch the video before hand. During lesson, the teacher have the students to do written work in class, where the teacher was able to walk round to check on their learning.
• CCL shared an app go.gov.sg/fractsim to help students master simplification of fractions. There was a query

• Be wary misuse of “=” for showing approximation
• Must teach how to key mixed number
• Highlight difference between finding equivalent fraction vs multiplying fraction

• AOB – Can send Review1 for kids to do as holiday homework.

• Can also encourage kids to ride on ALP on SLS and the newly acquired Koobits for more practices.
