Overview

The NEWater Visitor Centre (NVC) is an education hub that promotes water sustainability in Singapore and shares how NEWater is produced. The Centre offers a fun-filled and enriching time for visitors of all ages, with interactive tours and educational workshops.

9am – 5pm* (Tuesdays to Sundays, including public holidays)
Closed on Mondays except for public holidays

*The last tour starts at 4pm.

Admission
Free

The NEWater Visitor Centre is open for guided tours, and we strongly encourage visitors to book a session via our online service to avoid disappointment. Walk-in visitors may join the next tour session with available vacancies. Please note that only guided tours are available.

By Train or Bus:
Nearest MRT station: Tanah Merah (Exit B)
Bus services available: 12, 24, 31 and 38z

Note: You may wish to consider arranging for transport to the NEWater Visitor Centre instead of walking in. The centre is currently surrounded by construction sites, and footpath leading to the centre may be uneven and is unsheltered.

By Car or Taxi:

  • Koh Sek Lim Road is closed. The NEWater Visitor Centre can only be accessed via the Upper Changi Road East (near Bedok Canal).
  • If you are coming from Bedok, turn right at the traffic light and follow sign into the NEWater Visitor Centre.
  • If you are coming from Changi, Simei, Tampines and ECP, turn left at the traffic light and follow sign into the NEWater Visitor Centre.
