As our society starts to emphasise more on mental well-being and behavioural studies, psychology becomes increasingly vital in allowing us to describe, explain, predict, and change the mind and behaviour of others, playing a crucial role in promoting mental health, enhancing well-being, and addressing issues that affect daily life and mental wellbeing. In Singapore, the government plans to increase the number of public sector psychologists by 40% by 2030 to meet the rising demand for mental health services. This expansion reflects the increasing awareness of mental health issues and the need for professional support across various sectors.
